After learning about plant processes and reproduction, Mrs. Carly Reed's 7th grade science classes at Selmer Middle School were able to dissect flowers to identify their various parts. Each student had their own flower to dissect thanks to donations made by Floral Connection, Selmer Flower Shop, and The Flower Bee, all local florists in Selmer. Several students voiced their excitement while doing this activity.
